I think that to have an answer you should post better pictures of the hallmark and also a photo of the painting without the riza

Hallmarks from silver riza are original. Moscow, 1875. fineness 875

And I would as well like to see better pictures of the marks: I also agree with Dad that the hallmark looks authentic and fits the period. The meaning with the riza is to protect the painting under it. If it turns out that only the faces and hands a painted then the object is not much to have and possibly a fake. However, what I don't understand is why orthodox icons in general are commercial objects. Even if I am not orthodox, an icon is a holy thing meant for other purposes and not to be sold or bought.

I think that the icon is genuine and made in Moscow 1875. The master's name's first letter is very unclear. However, I might be И (Cyrillic I). In that case the initials would show И.З. (IZ) who is Ivan Zaharov1856-1896. He is known to have made icons. Nonetheless, I still must point out that due the the unclear maker's mark it is only a "guess". It is not a high quality icon.
