I really didn't want to put these items on here to show so could avoid the embarrassment but it seems everything I have ever bought is more than likely fake so it can't really get much worse lol.
I will add a picture or 2 of each item and then the hallmark/makers mark straight under each picture.
Knowing my luck there is one real item and it's the belt buckle which has damaged enamel so is worthless anyway.

Large Salt cellar or jewellery box? (257gms - 80mm long x 55mm high x 50mm wide)

Hi klingert1974 -
I am sorry to tell you that all the shown objects are fakes! Just knowing how Russian silver was marked (every better book about Russian silver starts with this information) would have prevented to buy these (admin edit) fakes. You have been warned several times to: 1) Know the marking system, 2) to ask the forum before you buy something - both ways are free .

Regards
Zolotnik

Yeah all these items had been purchased from late 2013 and through until late 2014.
I knew since joining this site that they were going to be fake so have learnt a very expensive lesson to study first and ask questions before believing what people tell you.

Thankyou for reply :)

Autch, autch and AUTCH! I'm sorry for all these fakes you have bought in good faith. My advise to you is to start reading this Russian site and don't buy anything before you have read it through. In most of the threads you will see real marks on real objects but as well fake marks on fake objects. Study them carefully and memorize what is written. Russian silver marks is not an easy task but an exciting hobby indeed!

Start from here and you will have an good overview of what is the name of the game: http://www.925-1000.com/Frussia.html After you read this link, compare the marks on your objects with the examples showed and you will understand where the problem is.

Not sarcastic,really. Just benevolent.
Although not allowed to tell where in London:``Roast pork & foie gras sausage; farro & porcini`` for two persons wine not included costs more than this ``Russian Easter egg`` available on internet.

Maybe there is a site on the Internet were a broad range of fake Russian silver is shown? It would be a good starting point.

You don't need a site just read threads here where cloisonneé objects are discussed and you will have the answers.
