First spoons(Funtikov), may be Niello broken?

Hi Dad -

thanks for the compliment! I am very proud of this find!!!
The Funtikov spoons are a little bit complicated to make proper photos and they give a wrong impression on the first glance: they are not niellod but "only" engraved. The 3- dimensional effect is caused by light and shadow - depending on how you turn the spoon and how the light is falling in. Very nice surprise. I enclose better photos where you can clearly see the engraving.
