Help identifying napkin ring that once belong to a nobility

Hi, acquire a napkin ring, done some research / guess work on it but I am not sure if they are correct. Any feedback/help would be appreciated.









It has the dvoinik (double) assay mark which was used from 1882- 1899

Maker's Mark PJS which belong to Silvennoinen Pekka 1886- 1908

And I believe it has the crown of nobility which indicated that it hd once belonged to a noble family.

This is as far as my research has taken me, it has 2 or 3 letters engraved below the crown I am pretty certain that the last letter is a "B" however I couldn't make out the rest, it looks to be a "A" however it could be in Russian all together.

all your researches are correct - compliment! I vote for kyrillic alphabeth - the letters П В = P W



The crown is a Count´s crown - see the Russian cigarette case from the same time period.

Very funny question! Of course I know all the people in Russia with the initials PW - but I will not tell until you solved the following riddle:

A ship is 350 Meters long , 25 Meters broad and 27 Meters high - what is the name of the captain?

On the other shown cigarette case is no interesting crest - it are the interwined kyr. initial letters ЛШ = LT

Correct me if I am wrong but since they have the Count's crown are they not of nobility if that is the case then it should eliminated vast number of people.

and just for fun I was looking at the dimension of the sea vessels and not too many of them are close to 350 metres in length and all of them have a beam over 40 metres so it's safe to say the ship with your dimension never exist in the human history.

You are missing something here, the dimensions given are 350 meters in length, 25 Meters broad and 27 Meters high, I would be impress if you can find a sea vessel with such dimensions.

Ah yes, the nautical beam you referred to is the most extreme width (or breadth) of a nautical vessel, or a point alongside the ship at the midpoint of its length.
