Russian Church in exile - engraved in 1938: Voznesensky Cathedral chorus. Not ``a story`` for sure; I know exactly where they sang and where was the church, how it was built and a huge dispute among divided Russian church in exile and church in Soviet Russia at the time.
But marks are curious and engraving does not look like mid 19th century; the inscription is obviously 1938 but what about the rest? Reminiscence of the town one of them came from - Arkhangelsk?
``СГ`` looks re- struck. What are those two marks arrowed? One is engraved, though.
What might be the strange history of this beaker?
