I've recently acquired a silver and nefrite Russian yad. Normally I'd stay away from Russian judaica as the market is so flooded with fakes, but when I saw this piece, after a lot of inspecting I decided to take a chance. The style, wear, oxidation and hallmarks looked good to me (although I had some trouble decyphering the city mark). I would like to have your opinion on whether this is a good piece (As I thought), or whether the forgers took it one step further again. Also any help on the marks and maker are welcome. I first thought it might be Vilnius with essayer Alexander Krollau, but am not entirely sure.
thanks in advance for your help,
Kasper
