On the website you wrote you need some examples of the Russian marks from Veliky Novogrod and Jitomir, Dorpat so I post few I found on ordinary russian spoons (one of Jitomir is struck on a candlestick)

Mind my asking but do I misunderstand you or what do you mean. The marks you show are from

1. Yes, Dorpat or Tartu assayer Mihail Medvedev
2.Riga, assayer unknown
3.Riga, assayer Ludvig Zuck
4.Yes, Gitomir, assyer V. Tsuvasev
5. Riga, assayer Ludvig Zuck

I placed them because I there are no examples in you russian city marks section. Thought you need some examples. I mistaken Riga with Novgorod, that's all. Best regards.

Yes, there is a lot of insufficiency in the Russian sites regarding spelling of names, missing marks, incorrect marks etc. I have a long time ago contacted admin about that and offered to complement some of this information. Unfortunately nobody seems to have time or interest to do that. What a pity I would say and I do say it.
