Hi All,
Just an extra question in this topic:
Here is the extract from P-L about Nikolaev...

I do not speak Russian, but I can read the cyrillic letters (the language is the next step!)
With the help of a very good online translator I have worked it out to be this:
"Dmitry Nikolaev was the owner of the factory making silver products in Moscow in the 2nd floor. In the nineteenth century. In 1897 he had a factory with 8 employees and 10 apprentices in the amount of 10,000 rubles making silver cigarette cases, ГИМ; лжица Ñ Ñ€ÐºÐ·ÑŒÐ±Ð¾Ð¹, ÐГМ."
I cannot find a translation for the end part - and I just want to check that this translation is right. Is there any way that the translation to English could be clearer?
Regards,
Piette
