Unknown russian marks on 1879 kiddush cup

I was wondering whether anyone could identify the top and far right marks.

Hello.

The letters BC are the mark for Moscow assayer Viktor Savinkov 1855-1888.
The mark on the right is the town mark for Moscow ( St. George slaying the dragon).
The top mark is the maker's mark, but I can't find it in my references.

It is not a kiddush cup, it is a vodka beaker and these are typical for that period.

The makers mark is so worn that it is difficult to say which cyrillic or latin letters there are, possibly HA?.

Juhana , i found an 1888 mocow vodka beaker w/ somewhat similar markings to our 1879 moscow vodka beaker, when i turned our posted image upside down. Tell me what you think.

Hi,
One should be very careful when trying to define the assay master’s initials of Cyrillic BC (latin VS). It has been assumed for years that they would belong to Viktor Savinkov. However, at about same timeframe there were three other assay masters working in Moscow with more or less the same initials “VS” (differing dots), i.e

Viktor Savinsky 1859-1894
Veniamin Savinsky 1862-1875
Vladimir Smirnoff 1878

There are some serious doubts about the whole existence of any assay master by the name of Viktor Savinkov. One should put a big question mark in connection with the assay mark VS, Cyrillic BC in Moscow during the mentioned period. It can be any of those three masters , but who of them, that’s a good question.
