Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens has one of the most comprehensive collections, some 16,000 objects, of eighteenth and nineteenth-century Russian Imperial art outside of Russia, as well as an extensive collection of eighteenth-century French decorative arts. Highlights include a diamond crown worn by Empress Alexandra at her marriage to Nicholas II, two Imperial Easter eggs by Carl Fabergé, and a fine selection of silver.
February through December Hours:
- Open Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm, and some Sundays (see link)
- Closed Mondays.
- Closed on most national holidays.
Admission: Suggested donations - Adults $15 Senior (65 and older) $12
