The Jewish Museum of Budapest is one of the major museums of its kind in Europe. Built as an annex to the Synagogue in Dohány utca, it was opened to the public in 1932. It contains a fine collection of silver Judaica.
Mon-Thu 10am-5pm; Fri and Sun 10am-2pm
Closed on Saturday
Admission: 600 Ft ($2.70). Guided tours in English 1,500 Ft ($6.75)
