Hallmarking Information Day

Held at the historic Goldsmiths’ Hall, it offers a practical and comprehensive guide to hallmarking. Delegates will learn about the legal requirement of assaying and hallmarking precious metal articles sold in the UK. There will also be a series of practical hands-on sessions including the opportunity to have a go at hand-marking and the chance to have a personal item of silver or jewellery tested for its precious metal content.
