Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim im Reuchlinhaus
Jahnstrasse 42
75173 Pforzheim
Jewellery by Winfried Krüger
19th July until 19th October 2014, opens on Friday, July 18, 7 p.m.
Well-defined contours, audacious shapes and surfaces, as well as playful contrasts, are only a few of the features that characterize the pieces of jewellery created by Winfried Krüger (b.1944) – whether they are crafted from pure silver, from enamel or paper. The wide variety of stimulating impressions in his surroundings is far too inspiring to limit himself to certain materials only, or to a single subject-matter.
This goldsmith and jewellery designer worked as an instructor at the Technical College of Pforzheim’s Goldsmithing School until 2010 and was awarded the Baden-Württemberg State Prize for Arts and Crafts in 1992.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday (and holidays) - 10am - 5pm
Admission - €3
