Are you a tutor conducting a jewellery or silverware class, or a student studying one of these courses?
The Goldsmiths' Company, Assay Office and Centre will co-present an open-day of inspiring talks, activities and networking opportunities to help students make their mark on the future of the craft.
The aim for the day is to provide practical information, advice, contacts and inspiration to encourage and enable students to move forward in their chosen career with confidence. It is open to all students studying on precious metal related courses, whether at degree level or on a short adult education or private tutored course. Highlights of the day will include:
- Free registration package to all students attending
- Inspirational talks from key trade members including Theo Fennell and Miriam Hanid
- Careers Zone featuring recruitment agencies, social media experts and design protection services
- Trade Zone featuring key suppliers and trade organisations
- A spectacular exhibition of work from students and residents of the Goldsmiths’ Centre
- Tours of the Assay Office marking floor and our world renowned library
