I have this box which is 3" high x 3 3/8" across x 2 3/4" wide with a hinged domed lid and scroll work around the top. I am trying get help identifying the makers mark and age. If anyone could help please let me know.

I believe it is a newer American piece but not sure.

The pictures are not that great because of the reflection but the mark is fairly clear.

Could it be another mark for Anna Eicher? It doesnt match any of the others I've seen.

I don't think it is Anna Eicher. The first letter is an H and the second letter is an E. Sorry, I thought the picture was clearer but now when I go back and view it I see it isn't.

Hi,
Anna's husband was Heinrich Eicher, he was a Kalo silversmith until 1914 and worked at home with Anna afterwards. I've never seen documentation on his having had an individual mark and I am not really offering his name has a possibility.
The design of the piece seems more in keeping with the modified Georgian styles produced in Boston and I suspect that it originated on the east coast and somewhat later than the Eicher's c.1910-1930 years.

This mark in AG. I have several brooches made by AG. They are very finely crafted, engraved, and sometimes 3-D. I saw a boxed necklace and earring set on eBay that matches one of my brooches, and the box came from the Boston Guild.
