Re: Information Regarding John Round & Son of Sheffield
One of the principal changes of the last few months in the trade has been the amalgamation of the firm of Ridge, Allcard & Co., of Lion Works, Eyre Lane, with that of John Round & Son (Limited), Tudor Works. Messrs. Round & Son have achieved an enviable notoriety by the quality of their goods, and their registered trade mark "J.R. & S." and a globe, with the inscription in the margin "All the Round" are well-known throughout the trade. Mr. Joseph Ridge will take the management of the amalgamated business, and his practical experience, extending over several years, will doubtless increase rather than diminish the fame both firms have obtained in separate trading.
