Re: Information Regarding Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh
I am sure that the heartfelt sympathy of every member of the Scottish silversmiths' and jewellery craft will be extended to Lord Provost Inches, of Edinburgh, on the death of his eldest surviving son, Mr. J.A. Morrison Inches. The deceased gentleman - who succumbed shortly after an operation - has passed away at the early age of thirty-eight years, and in his death there has passed away a most popular personality. In view of this bereavement the Lord Provost has cancelled several important public engagements, and many of the messages of sympathy which have reached him have been from members of the Scottish jewellery trade.
