Extensive alterations in Krementz & Co.’s jewelry factory at the corner of Mulberry and Walnut Sts., Newark, N. J., are now in progress. A portion of the front of the building is to be changed and the first floor is to be lowered. A new oak staircase from the first floor to the second is to be built, and a large fire proof vault for the storing of valuables is to be built, running from the first to the third floor.
