It seems that the simplest things are always discovered last, Messrs. Krementz & Co., have secured the patent for a new manner of connecting link bracelets—a way so simple, easy and practical, that it is only a wonder that it has never been used before. Hitherto, link bracelets have been connected by rings or bolts, in such a manner, that if the size were to be altered, it would necessitate the re-coloring or soldering of the parts which were re-joined. The new idea of Messrs. Krementz & Co.’s., however, is a mere staple, which is simply bent into its position, connecting two links, and requires very little labor to put them together after making an alteration, and so simple, that It is perfectly strong and secure, and so simple, that an explanation would seem ridiculous.
