Rue de la Victoire, Paris
PARIS JEWEL FRAUDS
Warrants have been issued, says a Paris correspondent, for the arrest of two jewellers, the brothers Hirsch, who carried on business in the Rue de la Victoire, and are now missing. They are alleged to have pawned in London and Paris large quantities of jewellery sold to them on credit. They also disposed of the pawntickets, nearly one hundred of which have been discovered in Paris. The total value of the goods thus pawned is 3,000,000f.
