The marriage of Mr. Charles Loup to Miss Meagher took place in Halifax on Tuesday morning. On Monday last Mr. Loup opened his store on Barrington street. His specialties are watches and clocks.

FRANCIS WURSTER

Two more arrests have been made in connection with the robberies from the Goldsmith’s Stock Co., Toronto. The prisoners are Francis Wurster, jobbing jeweler, who has, a store at 470 Queen St. W., and Frank Cable, a clerk. A portion of the missing property was found in Wurster’s store.

Fred Roberts, Toronto, on Friday last assigned to A. W. Campbell who took charge of the estate which is estimated at being worth $3,000 or $4,000. The total of his liabilities have not yet been ascertained.

By the alleged alienation of his wife’s affections, Chester O'Brien says he has suffered $5,000 worth of pain of mind, at least that is the amount he claims from jeweler Frederick Roberts, Toronto, Ont., who he says acted as a gay lothario and despoiled his home.

In a fire in Ottawa, Ont., a few days ago, the store with residence over, of F. & J. Grant was damaged slightly, mostly by water. The shop of C. W. Willemot, lapidary, was also damaged ; the loss here was quite heavy. Mr. Willemott lived above the store.
