CALDERONI
Piazza del Duomo 21-25, Milano
Calderoni - Milano - 1904

The splendid warehouse of the Ditta Adone Calderoni, made up of four shops, is located under the northern porticoes of Piazza del Duomo N. 21-25, and for its grandeur can be placed among the first of Italy. The late Mr. Adonis Calderoni, too early kidnapped by the art and affection of his, created his house in the year 1856, and with his tenacity on purpose and passionate industriousness, he was able to take it from modest principles to the current state. The Company, which is also a supplier of the Real Casa, now includes everything in its circle of operations that can be requested in Jewelery, Goldsmithing, Watchmaking and Silverware, and each of these items is supplied in such a way as to satisfy the most demanding requests. Characteristic of the House was always the artistic direction of its productions, which tends to make of the jewel not only a mass of material value, but a jewel in the true sense of the word, that is a well balanced set of art, and value. And it is to this prerogative that the House must have obtained a silver medal at the Milan National Exposition in 1881 and the highest honor awarded by foreign jurors to Italian jewelers, that is, the Diploma of Honor at the International Exhibition of Nice in 1884. For a few years the House entered the Watchmaking branch, with excellent results, being now able to offer a rich assortment that to the best productions of the classic houses of world renown, gathers watches of all kinds, that although accompanied by a guarantee, they are real cheap miracles. To the late Mr. Adonis Calderoni, who had failed to live in 1892, his son Augusto succeeded in directing his house, continuing along the path traced to him and nothing neglects to add new prestige and fame to his father's name, which still remains with the Company.
