Employees of the American Silver Co. have organized the American Silver Co.'s Sick Aid and Benefit Association in Bristol. The officers elected are: President, Samuel L. Large; vice-president, Anna Duval; secretary, Thomas Green; treasurer, Henry N. Law.

Miles A. Illingsworth, for many years traveling representative with the American Silver Co., Bristol, and whose territory includes New York and Pennsylvania, has decided to move with his family to Philadelphia, thus overcoming the disadvantage of being out of touch with his Territory part of the time.

President Albert F. Rockwell, of the Bristol Brass Co., and the American Silver Co., Bristol, Conn., has announced that there will be 20 more dwellings erected on the Broad St. tract by the company for employes and others.

Samuel B. Harper, secretary and assistant treasurer of the American Silver Co., Bristol, Conn., and Mrs. Harper celebrated the 40th anniversary of their wedding last Wednesday evening at their residence, Out-look. The home was attractively decorated for the occasion and luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Harper received many beautiful gifts.

Albert F. Rockwell, president of the American Silver Co., Bristol, Conn., and Mrs. Rockwell have left their home, “Brightwood Hall,” in that city to enjoy a five weeks’ vacation in Florida.

H. A. Arens, Chicago manager for the American Silver Plate Co., will leave this week on a short business trip to Kansas City and Omaha. Mr. Arens reports that their road men are gathering their regular orders for the season and that mail orders are coming in in good shape.

At a meeting of the directors of the American Silver Co., Bristol, Conn., held on Friday afternoon, a quarterly dividend of 1¼ per cent. was voted, making a 5 per cent. annual dividend, which has been paid for some time. The directors elected the following officers: President, Albert F. Rockwell: vice-president, Dean Welch, Nutley, N. J.; secretary, Samuel B. Harper; treasurer, Alexander Harper. At a meeting of the directors of the Bristol Brass Co., on the same day, a quarterly dividend of 2 per cent. and one-half per cent. extra, payable April 10, was voted. The business of this concern is good and a full time schedule has been maintained for several months. The directors elected the following officers: President, Albert F. Rockwell; vice- president, Pierce N. Welch, New Haven, Conn.; secretary and treasurer, Julian R. Holley: cashier, Albert D. Wilson.
