Hello,

Nicolaus Christoph Robbe (1843-1916) from Flensburg worked alone until 1897. In this year he corporated with Robert Berking from the Brunswick region. In 1898 R. Berking married the doughter from N.C. Robbe.
Today Robbe &Berking produce more than 50% of the german silver cutlery.
Until 1964 the mark of Robbe & Rerking was an arrow (Bernt Zeitzschel, Die Gold- und Silberschmiede im östlichen Schleswig-Holstein, p. 111 f.).
