Wilson & Sharp was the partnership of Robert Wilson and Andrew Sharp and was established in 1889.

Andrew Sharp served his apprenticeship with the Edinburgh firm of Hamilton & Inches. He left H & I to run the silver department at T.J. Paris & Co. of Liverpool.

Wilson & Sharp initially entered marks as the Glasgow Assay Office and later a wide variety of marks at the Edinburgh and London Assay Offices.

Wilson & Sharp were absorbed into Mappin & Webb in the 1970's.
