François Hugo - Artist Silversmith

A great grandson of Victor Hugo, François Hugo was a mid-century silversmith & jeweler. He is primarily remembered for translating the designs of a number great artists, including: Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Jean Arp, and Marcel Duchamp, into works in silver.
The link is to a 6 1/2 minute video interview conducted at Hugo's studio in 1961. It is in French, but even if you do not understand the language, it is well worth viewing for the images and demonstrations.
