Another object, native to India. This design was commonplace in the princely state of Bhopal. What was it used for?

Hint: 1.Multi-purpose accessory, 2.Paan, 3.Mobile.

What-is-it Question LXV.

This looks to me like a portable paan-making kit. I would suppose that the spice mixture is in the round box, the small spoon is used to take it out, the knife is used to cut up the leaf and the utensil at the right end perhaps is used to tamp down the paan so that it isn't lumpy???

Haha. You wish! Very entertaining! :-D

I'm going to have to stop giving all those hints, haha! You're almost right. This thing is kept in a purse. The sphere-like box opens in halves, and is used mainly for keeping edible lime paste, which an essential ingredient of paan. Of course, you can always replace it with other spices. The tiny spatula on the left helps scoop out the paste, the thing in the middle is not a knife, but a toothpick, and the one on the right is used to take out 'Qivaam' out of a bottle. 'Qivaam' is an aromatic, semi-fluid mixture that accompanies the paan. Someone suggested that the third thing on the right is an ear-pick, but that would make it really weird and gross!

That may be a toothpick but I sure as shooting wouldn't use it on my teeth!
How about something really exotic?

Not as uncommon as you guy's may think. I have seen it many times before (as much as I agree, it is disgusting) here is just one instance.

Checked out the toothpick/earwax scoop. I hope the user remembers which end is which!
