These items were made between 1850 and 1910. I'd estimate their lengths from 4 to 5 inches (10.16cm to 12.70cm). They all served the same purpose. What are they called?
Well, I think Miles has it, but suspect that they are very much smaller than 4-5 inches. Judging from their scale in comparison to the jump rings and hallmarks on Mr. Fish, perhaps they are more in the area of 1½ to 3½ inches?
Can't resist a guess. The fish sure looks like a whistle, but I think the rest are clutch type mechanical pencils. They'd fall right within Cheryl's size estimates when closed.
