Sugar bowl? Persian?

Post by sebastian4743 »

Looking forward to hear your ideas. As there are no marks that I can show I wonder what is the origin of this piece (sugar bowl)? Maybe Persian?

There's a category of silver from the Kutch region of India which some people specialize in "Kutch India Silver" and this form reminds me of objects from that region. ::::

Thank you! I have found several examples of Indian silverware and my sugar bowl might be from the Bhuj region ca 1870. Here is one of the examples similar to mine:

Bhuj is a Municipality and District Headquarters of Kutch District in the state of Gujarat, India.
There was a lot of silversmith shops when I went there.
