Any help IDing this piece would be appreciated. Have looked through NUMEROUS sites and can't find it listed.

Welcome to the forum.

How big is the piece?
A picture of the marks might give us an idea of age.

Hello

Yes it is a common squeezer for lemon slices.

In Germany usual from about 1920 on, e.g. made by Wellner, "beak" incised as like to be a bird.

Thanks Silver,
Will look up Wellner and see if I can find anything on it. All I find are the folding lemon wedge kind.

Lemon squeezers

Postby silverport » Mon Jun 21, 2010 10:39 am

Hello Steve

If you search in German internet resources, you must type in e.g.:

Zitronenpresse
Citronenpresse
Zitronenquetsche
Citronenquetsche

Wellner has had also »VALSODO«, a commercial and production facility in Italy, for the Levant area.

By the way, you could already find in »925-1000« topics some different types of squeezers.

Type here in the »keywords« area the word lemon and then »Search«: search.php

Have a nice summer time!
Success!

Kind regards silverport
