Whilst this may not be correct, I have a very similar spoon in proportion to that shown although with much more decoration. This was made by Richard Martin & Ebernezer Hall in 18881 with a British Design registry mark for 1874.
It was described as a Presentation Spoon.

hi trev the length of the spoon is eight and a half inches,the diameter of the round is three inches.

hi larkfield thanks for your reply,the name on the spoon is wards,with e.p which i know is electroplate,and a letter S.
