Hiya JC-

I dont know and the picture is a little blurry, but the third finial looks like the "she wolf with Romulus and Remus" "Rome" perhaps they stand for ancient cities of Italy? i.e. Florence, Venice etc.

No 4 is the Sct Markus (danish) is it the signature of Venice. The lion appers with an open book = Venice is at peace.
A closed book represents = Venice is at war.
At least that was rhe story that I was told. Dont know whether is a guide story or if it is the case.
However in Venice you see the lion at building etc. sometimes the book is open sometimes its closed.

Your set is sand cast brass made for the Italian tourist market, could have been made anytime from the early 20th century until the very recent past. As already noted, the tops are the symbols of various Italian cities.

If you're interested, the letters on number 2 are probably SPQR which stand for Senatus Populusque Romanus (the senate and the people of Rome).
