Presumably made by Oneida Community, this shape and pattern is lacking an identity. The user [Topmarked Maye's] would be (George) Mayes Oyster House in San Francisco now residing at 1233 Polk Street. [Regardless of posted psuedo-historical information, New York Public Library places a 1937 menu on-line showing the address then as being on Market St.] Mayes is held to be the second oldest continuously operating restaurant in the city dating to 1867, even though it apparently became other venues before its' updated reincarnation as a seafood-slammer.....seems to violate the idea of a continuous entity. The official name has been interchangeably spelled with and sans the apostrophe. Identifying the pattern may help date the fork. TIA

The closest I could find in the Oneida family would be an evolution of Wm. A. Rogers design beginning with Revere (1905), simplified with Scotia (1915), and then placed onto a new body having wide shoulders and blunted end sometime after the mid-1920's (more likely once that firm was absorbed as a subsidiary).
