Samuel E. Bernstein (National Silver)-Mainliner A-1 Plus

Apparently not a very common pattern, with the cast-in combination oval S.E.B. & E.P.N.S. mark as continued by National Silver Company after the 1904 evolution of Berstein into NASCo. Followed with the stamped "MAINLINER A-1 P L U S". The pointy handle shape first known used circa 1930 continuing for patterns up to 1951-. [The terms Mainline/Mainliner have been associated with Pennsylvania Railroad, United Air Lines, and Ford Motor Company, however there is nothing to indicate any commercial designs or promotional tie-ins to these firms.] Oddly, in one of my unexplained red ink notes scrawled above Rainwater's Nasco entry is "see also Albert Pick Company", so perhaps I found some prior evidence of a commercial product line relating Pick & National at one point in time. Is anything more known about this Triple-Chevron simple design with extra plating? Was it Nasco's attempt at a commercial ware, or is it a household product?
