Christofle spoon - need date and pattern ID

I have been told that this spoon is a Christofle spoon. It is about 7 1/2" long. I am unable to find the pattern on their site or anywhere. Can anyone tell me the name of the pattern and when it was made? Also, the name and mark appears on the front of the spoon as shown in the circles. I don't know much about silver, but I have not seen this before. Is it normal to have a mark on the front of a piece like this? Thanks

I first posted this inquiry in the silver forum and it was removed, probably because most Christofle is silverplate. After posting here, I have not received any further information. I now see a pattern called Vendome shown here: (admin edit - You can not hotlink to images on another site - copyright infringement)

Can anyone tell me if this spoon is silver or silver plate and when it was made? I don't see it listed on the Christofle site. The marks are in the above post.

Sorry. I have not posted much and did not realize this was a copyright issue since I identified the source. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the French hallmarks.

I did write to the Christofle company and was surprised by their prompt reply. Here is the information they sent:

"You're right. This pattern is called "Vendôme". The pattern was designed by Luc Lanel (1893-1965) for Christofle in 1925. It existed also in sterling silver. It was sold until 1990. Your spoon is plated. The Christofle horse head master mark is only used for silver plated items"
