R. Harris & Co., 1881 Pattern Name

This spoon is approximately 6-3/4" long, with the bowl about 1-1/4" across. I would like to know what the pattern name is so I can do some additional research. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Harris & Co. was the retailer, a Washington, DC jeweler, founded in 1874 and in business over a century - though advertising themselves as a manufacturing jeweler and silversmith, can't recall seeing any silver that didn't also bear a manufacturer's trademark. Your piece is by Whiting Mfg. in their 1891 'Louis XV' pattern, designed by Charles Osborne, patent #D20466 - looks like a sugar spoon to me, but would expect it the length to be more like 5¾"-6"...

Thank you so much for answering that question. Farther down the stem it was stamped "R. Harris & Co." and that was how I was researching it.. I did notice the hallmark stamp at the base of the bowl, with a tiny "W" kind of intertwined in the stamp.. My mom has a bunch of individual pieces that she has collected for the last 40+ years.. Will be very interesting researching them..
