Cheltenham flatware pattern

I believe it must be from 1950's ... maybe earlier but it doesn't look very old for me.

Hi,
That's a traditional pattern usually described as 'Fiddle Thread'.
The pattern has been in use since the early 19th century.

The trade name Cheltenham & Co. was used mid 20th century.
