Might mention that 'Molly Stark', to my eye, one of the more elegant of the simple 1910s-20s American patterns, was also produced in sterling. The sterling version, which is not particularly common, is dated in some references as 'circa 1910', but I've found no evidence that it predates the 1916 design patent (#D50020).
