Postby dartsil » Sat Feb 19, 2011 10:04 am

Can anyone enlighten me as to what this cutlery pattern is?. Handles as well as tines and blades are hallmarked from Birmingham 1845 and each handle has an Rd mark from the 8th of January 1845.

I have included quite a few images so please moderator if I have included to many could you please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hi Colin,

I just noticed a set of six dessert spoons in this pattern assayed at Birmingham in 1846 and struck with the maker's mark 'JG', probably James Gregory, 10, Caroline Street, Birmingham.

Are yours by the same maker?

Trev.
