Some images of the 'Newton' pattern on a teaspoon by George Adams, assayed at London in 1877.

Ian Pickford in his 'Silver Flatware' book says this of the 'Newton' pattern:

A very rare pattern which appears in the Chawner & Co. Pattern Book.

Of Hanoverian form the stem is decorated (back and front) with foliate scrolls of similar form to those found on engraved Trefids. The top of the stem is decorated on the front with a anthemion, the central lobe of which is extended within a plain reserve which points down the stem. The heel is an anthemion within beading.

Finding any pieces is extremely difficult.
