Help identifying pattern name

Postby doc » Tue Feb 24, 2009 2:14 pm

Can anyone tell me the name of this pattern? It's marked with William Rogers' mark of the maltese cross W.R. and other mark (I call it an amphora), and is also marked pat. Jan. 14, 08.

The pattern name of this cold meat serving fork is Carnation (silverplate, 1908) by Wm. A. Rogers (Oneida). Wm. A. Rogers, Ltd. was succeeded by Oneida Silversmiths in 1929.

Best wishes, TD

Thanks, TD. That was my guess as to the name, given the floral design, but I appreciate the information on the dating as well.
