cleaning silver on an old hairbrush

Postby rainbowrev » Sun Jan 20, 2008 11:19 am

Hi,

I would love some expert advice on how to best clean the silver on an old hairbrush without staining the bristles of the old brush?

Thanks so much!

use masking tape to hold thin muslin over the bristles which are not planted in silver, anyway. remember to remove the masking tape as soon afterwards as possible or it begins to leave residues.
