Help Identify this EPIC Bangle, Native American or not?

Hello all. Still need help with my ident on that ring I posted a month or so ago, but now I have this AMAZING bangle that has just moved to the top of my MUST KNOW list. Forget the ring, I want to know about this :)
K First off, whats the stone? Its not Tigers Eye is it?
Secondly, its "stamped" (No stamp really, rather cut into the silver):
VERHON
"82"
S.SILVER
The 82 is in quotes just like that.
I will be posting a photo in a few minutes, my first photos came out really blurry so I'm getting my son to take them.
