Help identify artist and maker of watch cuff

Postby infoseeker1957 » Mon Jun 14, 2010 5:00 pm

Here is a lovely watch cuff I beleive to be Native American, possibly navajo. It has beautiful applied work and two each coral and turquoise stones.
Inside it reads H. Boyd. Any information regarding tribal affiliation, artist, period etc. would be appreciated.

Hello.

Barton Wright's book shows the mark H.Boyd in 1/16 print to be a Navajo silversmith.
Mark first used in 1979. From the Holbrook, Arizona region.

Pat.
