Is this Sterling Bracelet Native American?

Was fortunate enough to find this bracelet today, marked Sterling and also marked K.Y. Is this Native American? It's been suggested to me that this is undyed Howlite, is that correct? Any possibility of knowing the maker or tribe, or both? What a long shot, eh? Thanks so much!
