Help needed with maker's mark on silver belt buckle

Here is the belt buckle that I believe is silver-possible Mexican or Central American?

To the right of the symbol It looks MC
and the symbol looks like a bear print? Any help or steerage to other sources would be great.

Your buckle is Native American made, in the silver overlay technique. Most likely Hopi rather than Navajo, "MC" would be the maker's initials and the bear-paw probably the clan mark. Lovely piece.
