can't remember ancient figures name and who's mark made it

Just drawing a blank here. What do they call this guy? and the maker looks like J.C. or T.C. who is it.
thanks also what is that as his head or how old do you think this piece is?

Pretty unusual to see ".925" rather than "Sterling" used on authentic NA jewelry. Suspect, from appearance and mark, that this might be a recent piece from, perhaps, Asia.
