Native American Ring maker MC

Any information on this ring or maker would be appreciated. It is marked Sterling, 925, MC with L under it. I assume it Native American but am not sure. It is a large ring with a piece of tourquoise, coral and what looks like a nail (or claw). Thanks for your help.
