Industria Argentina teapot - sterling?

Post by gty »

Hi,

I bought this at a thrift shop today. I have purchased sterling pieces at the same shop in the past that were obviously sterling but priced very low, so I always check. When I googled "Industria Argentina sterling", I didn't find anything that would tell me definitively yes or no whether the marks on this teapot indicated it is sterling or silver plated. I have a feeling it's plated, but would like someone to tell me how to know for sure, if possible.

Thank you,

Greg
