I've used up my resources trying to figure this make out. I bought it as coin silver, but doubt its that old. It was tested as silver and no other color is revealed by deep scratches on the bottom. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
I'd guess the mark reads "La Perla", the pearl in Spanish. Everything else about your trays screams South American. I've seen almost identical pieces that hailed from Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Always tough to date these, I'd wager middle third of the 20th century.
Regards, Tom
